Directions

Newland Gallery is situated behind Old Hall, 101 Newland, Sherborne. Newland runs from the top of Cheap Street down to Long Street at Castleton. If walking from the top of Cheap Street, go past the Somerfield car park to your right, past Sherborne House to your left, cross North Street and continue down Newland crossing The Avenue and Tinneys Lane and you will see infront of you Old Hall, a Medieval house with tall chimneys. The entrance to the gallery is just past the front door. By car, you have a choice of car parks. Using the Somerfield car park or the car park just off the A30 follow the above instructions. Using the Hound Street car park or the car park by the Digby Hall, walk up Hound Street, turn right into Newland and walk down to Old Hall. If you park in the Culverhayes car park, turn right into Long Street and keep walking past the Eastbury Hotel until you come to the junction with Newland. Turn left into Newland and Old Hall is a few yards up on the right. You can often park in Newland itself but it is a one way street after Tinneys Lane and you cannot enter from Long Street.
